Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the use of this website and to all services, programs, consultations, conferences, events, registrations, dinner tickets, products, and other offerings provided by Elizabeth’s Helping Hands (“Elizabeth’s Helping Hands,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).By using this website, requesting or receiving services, registering for a conference or event, purchasing a dinner ticket or other offering, or otherwise engaging with Elizabeth’s Helping Hands, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional written terms applicable to a particular service or offering. If a separate service agreement, registration form, invoice, ticket description, or other written agreement contains terms that differ from these Terms, the terms of that specific agreement will govern the applicable service, purchase, or event.

Description of Services and Offerings

Elizabeth’s Helping Hands provides homecare and related support services, including, but not limited to, private-duty care, personal-care assistance, companionship, safety supervision, respite care, transportation assistance, staffing, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, shopping and errands, appointment escorts, and other services described on our website or agreed upon with a client.Elizabeth’s Helping Hands may also provide or host conferences, community programs, educational activities, benefit events, dinners, consultations, and other offerings.The availability, scope, schedule, location, staffing, eligibility requirements, and specific terms of any service or offering may vary. Elizabeth’s Helping Hands reserves the right to modify or discontinue an offering when reasonably necessary, subject to any applicable written agreement and governing law.

Educational and Informational Content

Information provided through the website, conferences, presentations, community programs, or other educational offerings is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. Such information is not a substitute for individualized medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other professional advice. Attendees and website users should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding their individual circumstances.

Service and Event Registration

Certain services, programs, conferences, or events may require advance registration, completion of additional forms, payment, confirmation of eligibility, or acceptance of separate terms and policies.You agree to provide complete, current, and accurate information when requesting services, registering for an event, purchasing a ticket, or submitting a form to Elizabeth’s Helping Hands.Registration, submission of a service request, or payment does not guarantee participation or service when eligibility requirements, capacity limitations, staffing availability, or additional approvals apply.

Payment

Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment is due according to the applicable invoice, service agreement, registration page, ticketing page, or checkout instructions. Paid services, tickets, registrations, or other benefits may be withheld until all required documents have been completed and payment has been successfully processed. Recurring or ongoing homecare services may be governed by additional payment, cancellation, and termination terms contained in a separate client service agreement.

Conference Registration and Dinner Tickets

Registration for the conference is free. Separate payment is required to attend the dinner unless Elizabeth’s Helping Hands expressly states otherwise. Conference registration or the purchase of a dinner ticket does not include any products, services, accommodations, transportation, or other benefits except those specifically identified in the applicable registration or ticket description. All dinner-ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.If a ticket holder can no longer attend, the ticket may be transferred to another guest. The original ticket holder is responsible for finding the replacement guest and submitting the required transfer information so that Elizabeth’s Helping Hands can update the event check-in list. Elizabeth’s Helping Hands is not responsible for reselling a dinner ticket or finding a replacement guest. All dinner-ticket transfer requests must be submitted no later than September 25, 2026. Transfer requests submitted after that deadline may be denied.

Refunds and Cancellations

Unless a different refund or cancellation policy is expressly stated in writing for a particular service or offering, all sales and payments are final and nonrefundable.Dinner tickets are nonrefundable, including when the ticket holder is unable to attend. A ticket holder’s option is to transfer the ticket to another guest in accordance with the ticket-transfer requirements and deadline stated in these Terms.Failure to attend a conference, dinner, appointment, consultation, scheduled service, or other offering does not entitle the registrant, purchaser, or client to a refund, exchange, or credit.Elizabeth’s Helping Hands reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or reasonably modify any conference, event, program, service, speaker lineup, schedule, venue, or offering when necessary. If Elizabeth’s Helping Hands cancels a paid offering without providing a replacement or rescheduled option, any refund or credit will be determined in accordance with the written terms applicable to that offering and Missouri law.

Client and Participant Responsibilities

Clients, purchasers, attendees, guests, and participants agree to comply with all reasonable policies, safety instructions, registration requirements, venue rules, check-in procedures, and standards of conduct associated with the applicable service, program, conference, dinner, or event. Elizabeth’s Helping Hands reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service, deny admission, or remove a person whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, disruptive, or otherwise interferes with the safety, rights, or experience of others.Removal or denial of admission due to a person’s conduct does not automatically entitle that person to a refund, credit, or exchange.

Force Majeure

Elizabeth’s Helping Hands will not be responsible for any delay, interruption, modification, cancellation, or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, public-health emergency, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government orders, utility or technology failures, transportation disruptions, venue unavailability, illness, or other emergencies.When reasonably possible, Elizabeth’s Helping Hands may provide an alternative date, location, format, service provider, credit, or other appropriate remedy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elizabeth’s Helping Hands and its owner, employees, caregivers, contractors, representatives, speakers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss or damage arising from or relating to the use of this website or participation in any service, program, conference, dinner, event, or other offering.Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Client-specific rights, responsibilities, and remedies relating to homecare services may also be governed by a separate service agreement and applicable law.

No Guarantee

Elizabeth’s Helping Hands will use reasonable professional efforts to provide its services, programs, conferences, events, and other offerings in accordance with applicable standards and the terms communicated to the client or participant.However, Elizabeth’s Helping Hands does not guarantee any particular medical, personal, educational, professional, financial, attendance, networking, or other outcome. Testimonials, promotional materials, descriptions of services, or statements regarding prior experiences do not constitute promises or guarantees of future results.

Third-Party Services and Links

The website, registration process, or services may include links or access to third-party websites, forms, payment processors, venues, vendors, speakers, sponsors, or service providers. Elizabeth’s Helping Hands is not responsible for the availability, security, content, privacy practices, policies, or independent actions of third parties. Use of a third-party website or platform may be subject to that provider’s separate terms and privacy policy.

Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to this website or any service, program, conference, event, registration, dinner ticket, or other offering provided by Elizabeth’s Helping Hands will be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

Elizabeth’s Helping Hands may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms become effective when posted on the website unless another effective date is stated. The Terms in effect at the time of a purchase, registration, or service agreement will govern that transaction unless otherwise agreed in writing.
